Jakub Bork is a senior business analyst at Finastra with over 12 years of experience in financial technology, specializing in functional testing, data analysis, and regulatory-driven financial solutions. With deep expertise in IFRS 9, CECL, Effective Interest Rate (EIR) modeling, and Asset Liability Management (ALM), Jakub plays a significant role in translating complex financial regulations into practical, scalable solutions for clients.

Jakub began his career at Finastra as a functional QA tester, where he honed his attention to detail and system-level thinking. He then transitioned into a senior business analyst role, where for the past eight years he has led initiatives across product development focusing on requirements gathering, product enhancements, and client support. His earlier experience as a senior data analyst in a Corporate Actions department further deepened his understanding of financial operations and data

In last two years, Jakub has been involved in the development of Community Banking Manager, contributing to its design, implementation, and strategic alignment with client needs. He has helped on product strategy and functionality through close collaboration with stakeholders and end users. ​

Jakub holds two Master of Science degrees: one in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance, Risk, and Portfolio Management from the University of Groningen, and another in Economics from the University of Gdansk. His cross-disciplinary education and practical expertise make him a key contributor to Finastra’s mission of delivering intelligent and compliant banking solutions.​
